George was elected to the Committee of Management as Corporate Services Director, now Finance Director, in May 2003. He joined Royal Liver in 1994, from Skipton Building Society, as Internal Audit Manager and in 1997 was appointed Chief Internal Auditor.

George has almost 19 years experience within the Financial Services Industry. He is a Director of the majority of Royal Liver Subsidiary Companies and RL Pensions Trustees Ltd. in both the UK and ROI. He is also Chairman of the Investment Strategy Group.
