Non-Executive Director, Royal Liver Group

Anthony was elected to the Committee of Management as a Non-Executive Director in May 2004 having formerly been the Appointed Actuary at National Farmers Union Mutual Insurance Society Ltd. After leaving that position he established an actuarial consultancy firm, which he continues to manage. He is also a Non-Executive Director
of the Professional Oversight Board of the Financial Reporting Council.

In respect of his Royal Liver appointments, he is Chairman of the With-Profits Committee and a member of the Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee and Investment Strategy Group.
