Royal Liver Assurance is one of the best businesses in Merseyside, thanks to its modern attitude and traditional values.
Judges at this year’s Daily Post Regional Business Awards named Royal Liver winner in the Business of the Year category, which included stiff competition from other top companies.
The judging panel was impressed by ‘the way [Royal Liver] has transformed its financial performance in recent years… and is an entrepreneurially-led business. Yet, despite going through huge change and modernisation… has held onto its founding principles at all times’.
Royal Liver Assurance Chief Executive, Steve Burnett, said: “I am delighted to have received this award on behalf of everybody who works at Royal Liver. It is a great testament to the hard work and commitment they have shown in our drive for modernisation.
“It also demonstrates how all of our staff are dedicated to providing the best possible service to our customers, who are at the centre of everything we do.”
The Regional Business Awards were a double success for Royal Liver, which also scooped the Corporate Social Responsibility Award in a hotly contested category.
Judges were wowed by Royal Liver’s consistent investment in the local community for more than 150 years and the Society’s attitude to volunteering, which has always been encouraged.
